Mosaic workshop images

Planning the designs

We start off by teaching the basics - how to cut glass. How to cut straight lines, curves and even circles!

Once you are confident in your glass-cutting ability, it's time to start planning the layout and design of your mosaic.

Busy crafting

Once you have an idea of what you want to do, it's time to get those hands busy! Of course, you don't have to plan your design, you could just make it up as you go along!

Keep going...

Once you are "in the groove" you simply carry on with your mosaic, letting your creativity flow...

Completed mosaic

Once all the bits are stuck down, it's time for a tea break and a light lunch before grouting.

Grouting

The last thing we need to do is the grouting to fill in all the gaps and cracks and pull your design together.

Reference

"I just wanted to take the time to thank you for a most enjoyable Saturday. I am very pleased with the outcome of our mosaic projects, and it was a lot of fun (even though I still think it has nothing to do with creativity, it's merely the art of building puzzles...)! On behalf of myself and my mother, just wanted to say thanks, and keep up the good work!" Maryna
