Crafty Critters, Bedford Centre
Don't know what to do in Joburg with your kids during the holidays? Bring them to the Bedford centre in Bedfordview where Crafty Corner will be running our ever popular Crafty Critters holiday program.
Each craft is designed so that kids can explore their creativity and have some fun, while the parents can slip away for an hour to do some Christmas shopping or have a quiet cup of coffee in the Bedford Centre.
This year Crafty Critters' loving, safe venue will be situated on the lower link of the Bedford Centre, next to Verimark.
Due to popular demand, Crafty Corner will be hosting three Crafty Critters workshops each day, Monday through to Saturday, so you can decide which time suits you. Each session costs just R50 per child, and they get to keep what they make. Space is limited - so it's a good idea to book a few days in advance to make sure your space is booked. Very young children need to be accompanied by an adult.

Allowing your children to do crafts not only develops their fine motor skills, coordination, sensory perception and creativity, but also teaches them that they can make meaningful gifts or beautiful decorations without having to spend a lot of money.

Crafty Critters a huge success!
The Crafty Critters holiday program during the Soccer World Cup run by Crafty Corner on behalf of the Bedford Centre in Bedfordview was a resounding success!
From 10 June - 10 July 2010, parents were able to offload their kids for an hour of fun filled crafting, for the mere fee of R50. The kids (and some adults) had oodles of fun as they explored their creativity and were able to take home some beautifully handcrafted items, like painted plates, mosaics and more.
We are pleased to announce that we will be returning to the Bedford Centre in the next school holidays, and we look forward to seeing all of you (and some new faces) again! Bedford Centre craft classes, 10 June - 10 July 2010
What to do with your kids during the long soccer school holidays? Keep them entertained at the Bedford Centre in Bedfordview, with Crafty Corner's Crafty Critters holiday program where we will be hosting daily kids craft workshops from 10am - 12pm.
We will also be hosting adult mosaic workshops on Friday afternoons, 1pm - 4pm
The Bedford Centre is an upmarket and sociable mall ideally located in Bedfordview. Parents, if your kids are driving you up the wall, buy yourself a break and send them to us for a fun-filled 1hr craft session, watch their delight as we teach them the ins-and-outs of fabric painting, glass painting, mosaic, sand art and felt art at the Crafty Critters store next to Clicks.
Cost is only R50 for a 1hr session, and the kids get to keep what they make! Space is limited, so please book to avoid disappointment.
Adult mosaic classes are R240 for a 3hr workshop, Friday afternoons only, 1pm - 4pm.
